we had hundreds of acres in our area hit by frost a couple of years ago,
4-6" tall turned brown and laid flat on the ground after the sun hit it a few hours
as was mentioned the growing point is underground, so you will most likely be amazed
at the recovery it will make. try to ignore it a few days, then go look at the green starting
to show up again! you should watch it for "buggywhipping" though as some of the hardest hit
plants may tie themselves up a little bit as they resume growth. corn is very resilient.
