Subject: Year old soybean germ test

Western EC Iowa
I germ tested some beans we had left over from last year. I came up with 97% and 82% from two different varieties. I did this in my chilly basement for 10-12 days, not sure which day I started. I waited till there was a good sprout coming out of each bean, then threw away and counted what was left. Can I consider this a good test or should I redo? I was suprised at the 97, not as much with the 82. Thanks, Ben
