Local guy in the next valley over here has been growing onions under drip. Not only does he grow them under drip, but the ground is sandy enough they solid set (sprinklers) the fields to bring them up, then pull the pipe and switch to the drip.
Not many onions in the ground yet that I know of here. Couple inches of snow this morning so it will be a day or two. | |
