MN | On an 8030 there is a bulkhead connector under the cab by the wiper. I remove the roof pin out two wires with the correct pins and put them in the connector, I then run the wires down the right hand rear corner post and into the cab. I ground another wire and populate those three wires with the correct pins into a DB9 connector. Then I put the roof back on. It may take a while longer then you want but its hidden when you are done and it follows the routing of the factory wires. The only draw back is when you trade you have to do it again to your new tractor, the Y harness is moveable from tractor to tractor. | |
