Western Ohio | This subject always makes me cringe. I think vets are an absolutely critical part of the livestock business. Any more the only time we use them though is for preg checking and maybe to put a prolapse back together. Anything else most folks do themselves. On top of that we buy our medicine online to save a buck, how do we expect them to stay? I know I will stand some blasting for this but I know I am not doing my part at all to help keep them in business. I do not see a good solution for where we are today but looks like just another way agriculture is changing and we will have to accept it.
Deffinately an under appreciated and over worked group of people as far as I can see.
