| My Trimble dealer has been working with me on quoting out the new variable rate functionality that comes from the Dickey-john partnership. The way it has been explained to me is that the FMD display is able to operate 4 control channels all with simultaneous variable rate capability. We are outfiting our planter with hydraulic drives and controlling liquid fertilizer at the same time. My dealer is pushing me to go with the TrueCount clutches since the system can control those as well, but I'm not sure it makes sense just yet. I have not seem anyone else comment on this system's operation since its so new, but I would be interested to hear feedback as well. | |
