southeastern ohio | Currently I have my kid's fair steers in a old barn with each one in its own 12 x 24 stall, need to move them to the newer barn because the old barn has major drainage issues, I can't keep them dry. really the old barn it set to be torn down, but at a later date.
In the newer barn, the area I have,it would work out to have the stall size at 12 x 10 for each animal. Is this too small to keep a 1000- to 1300 # steer confined in? They will be leaded and exercised about every other night. It looks small to me, that's why I'm questioning it.
