Subject: JD 722 mulch finisher Modifications

Danville, Illinois
I purchased a desent JD 722 mulch finisher to use on chiseled bean stuble. I have since learned that these are sometimes prone to ridge because the disk gangs are designed to throw the dirt out. I purchased a 24ft model and intend to take the wings off, add shanks and extend the harrow (5 bar spike) to make it about 15.5ft wide. I am considering adding a strait disk blade (chisel plow colter) to the outside of each disk gang to reduce the amount of dirt it throws out kind of like the landoll finishers. My other option would be to reverse the gangs to throw in. I have read here that there is a kit from deere that will allow you to do this. Does anyone know what kit number it is???

Thanks
