Nwmo | I would imagine that Velcro is okay, I just used sheet metal screws to hold it to the rubber floor mat. On our 7510 I mounted the antenna on the hood right above the front axle. It worked great, it would lock to the line and steer you right for it without having to search back and forth. Compared to the 7920 we have it on now which has the antenna mounted on the roof, it seems to Snake back and forth on the line a little more, which made me think it just took a little longer for it to realize it was off line the farther back you mount it. As far as setting it, the wizard did a pretty good job of setting it correctly for me.
