Subject: Noble Harrow sections

Central Iowa

We have a field cultivator that is needing the tines replaced on the harrow.  It is a 4 bar coil tine, with the longer tines.  It seems to me that somewhere, somebody has a bunch of these sections that need a home.  The harrow did a fine job when new, but many of the cultivator manufacturers have gone to what I consider a better tine mounting system, where you can change any tine without complete disassembly.  Many of my tubes are bent up and adjuster brackets broken or rewelded, and I don't relish the thought of fighting all the rusty bolts on the tines.  Since this is a "backup" unit, I would be satisfied to stay with Noble sections, especially if replacements could be bought for a reasonable price.  I would need to measure what I have to get the right width, but I think it uses 6 sections to make up 30 feet. One of the center sections is narrower, but the remainder are wider, with extension tubes to get the proper width.  Clear as mud?  Have you seen any dealers with extra sections?  This is a long shot, but it can't hurt to ask.  Thanks.
