Batteries have moisture on top? I've seen it shown with a multi meter before that batteries will drain themselvs that have moisture on top of them. Clean them off and dry the tops if that is the case and that will stop that part.......this is obviously if they are top post batteries.

Another cheap thing you can do is install a disconnect directly in the line of the hot cable. May have to reset your radio each time but if this is only happening sitting a month at a time you only need to disconnect each fall probably.
