The Timpte is stronger and more suited to field use. The Husker is lighter and more suited to hauling payload down the highway. The weight difference is a fair bit more then 3-400 lbs.

With that said, our Cornhusker is 20 years old and has been primarily used from field to bins for the last 10 years, and it is still running with only about (....figgurin....) an average of $180 per year in welding.
