Subject: RE: 10-34-0 on seed

West Point, NE
I have done 10 gal per acre of 10-34-0 in 20 in rows for probably close to ten years now and have never had any traouble with it. However we have very high clay content in all of our soils and have very good residue cove with continuius notill so always have nice "moist" if not wet soils, this year will be the first year i have a sandy field and not sure what to do.

I have tried 10 gal fert and 10 gal water mixed put in furrow as a test on soybeans a couple years on a poor field but every time I did it either hailed out or had phytophera problems. I gave up on the test as it seemed it was bad luck but the fert did not hurt the germination or stand.
