If you're gonna cut the top off anyway, just keep on goin ;0) Slap a peice of tube on the top and call it good. I saw a truck a couple weeks ago that I couldn't feature what they got the bed from, but I'm sure now that's what it was. Years ago, we also took used trash rollbacks and made dump bodies for gravel trucks out of them. Put the hogsheads and latches in and built the tailgates. Worked good for a long time.
