I just bought six 8-port distributors with towers for my JD-1860. I bought them from Case, as I liked (at least I think I'll like) the spring latched top, the cone-impact top, and the hose locks. I think they were about $160 each, for both the tower and the spider. They use a lot of plastic. I haven't installed them yet, so no real feedback.

I always thought the JD towers on the 1860 were a wretched design...draw bolt leaked at the bottom, required a wrench to remove the top, and just seemed to impact the seed against a the flat surface of the top plate. Oh, and the hoses came out. They ARE steel, however.
