I have been trying to get done by May 5 but I bet that is not going to happen this year.
Remember many years not done by Memorial Day and one year I started planting July 4, 1995 but the beans were good.
I live on Wisconsin soils on a hill and can get planted and right at the end of this farm is Illinoian silt loam that is flooded and gets planted wet.
Sump pump has run for a week on top of a hill, it is wet.
