Well, I went through this about 2 years ago we also run 30 inch rows. I let mine out to 120 inches, but I didn't have the adapters for the front end and didn't like the pressure that looked to be on the front end. Also was going to be a little wide getting up and down the road especially pulling it. So I decided to just stay with the 92 inch as you are talking about. Like you said with 60 foot booms and a 12 row planter it doesn't equal out but it works fine.
