Subject: Twin row planter spacing question.

Hi. I have a couple quick questions about twin row planter unit spacings. I looked through as much Great Plains material as I could find easily and I cant find the dimension for the distance between the row units on their twin row planters. I wish to know the narrow spacing dimension, or the space between the units that make the planted "twin row". It appears from the few overhead drawings, that there is a different mount for the long row units. This evendently allows the units to be mounted quite closely and "overlap" each others depth guide wheels. Is this truely how it works, or is it simply a drawing adapted to make a point?

Thanks.
