| Stuff tends to accumulate, I guess. I forgot to say, slide #18 is the one that is relevent to a shop. Put a trench at the centerline of the shed, burying a couple of tubes, to circulate air through, put insulation over it extending 20 feet on each side of the tubes, then no insulation under the rest of the slab except for insulating the footings and exterior edges. Circulate heated air from under the roof or from solar collectors under the floor all summer, the heat moving at a rate of 1 meter per month in dry soil, should reach the edges of the insulation by fall. With some temperature sensors, it might be possible to cool in the summer by circulating cool air under the slab in the winter. | |
