LOL...........ours also ended u[ on a CIH dealers lot except it was traded for a blue planter

As for beiswanger's question. We set ours so the wing wheels were in the top hole & the center section wheels were in the middle holes. It also seemeds that the JD tech put some shims in the cenbter section wheels somewhere but I can't recall where as he did it while my son & I did the wing wheels.

One other thing I remember was that the book said the tonque should be level when planting. WE ran it that way the first year in corn and had trouble keeping an even planting depth. When we started no-tilling the beans it wouldn't cover the seed no matter what we did. That was when the tech came down & we reset the wheels & he also had us raise the hitch so that it was about 4-6" high on the front end. Really made an improvement in depth control in both corn & beans.
