It was 1992. Reason I remember it so well, I was on a student exchange trip at the agricultural academy in Kiev, Ukraine, and when I was able to get mail from home, mom wrote about the cold and how dad was cultivating with his coat on in June/July!
Beans 95% warm germ, 33% cold !
