DE | first of all, DO NOT buy one from a dealer or any dealer! Like you say , insane mark up. I had to replace one in a Case IH 8950 tractor. The original one was am/fm/weatherband special series Audiovox, I believe, completely enclosed for dusty environments. The dealer wanted near $300 bucks. Believe it or not, I got a brand new one same model on Ebay for $26 including shipping! I lucked out on that one, works great. I also had to replace one on a JD 7810 but could not find a special duty one with weatherband so I settled for a Kenwood typical car radio $50 or so on ebay just am/fm/cd. It's been in there two years and so far so good. | |
