We've worn out 3 of the Lincoln guns. All of them were 14.4V units. The first two had good life and lasted as long as we thought they should have with no trouble. We were always happy and had no reason to look elsewhere. The last one didn't last nearly as long as it should have. None of them were the 2 speed units.

After the last one wore out in a little over a year, dad bought an Alemite off the tool truck last fall. Looks to me like this Alemite is a much better unit. Has the torque and is WAY faster.
