In conventional till...
what do you normally see as enough down pressure. Is down pressure even needed, beyond what the row unit weighs?
For this question the field was fall chiseled, spring field cult and the planter has fixed finger wheels on it.
Edit: Planter speed is 5 mph,unless rain and the end of the field are both in sight.
