Subject: RE: Edit : Skidloader Brush Mowers ?

central - east central Minnesota -

With out a dought, Brush Wolf http://www.brushwolf.com/ . Sold by most dealers in Mn. Great customer service and helped size a mower to my use. They are based in Mn and make them for Cat skidsteers (branded as Cat, with a few changes per Cat). Very good company and competively priced (you get what you pay for). They make several choice between lowflow hydrolics, stnd flow and high flow. For my use, I went with lowflow - little faster blade tip speed (nice for thick tall grass), but loose a little torque for maintaned blade speed when whacking large sized brush. Flow on the Cat is about 16gpm if I recall - so the 6000LF was my choice.

The machines are not made to lower the cutting blade down on top of brush or trees, a guy needs to push the cutter over the brush or tree (pushing it over) and letting the cutter whack it up. Don't back up the machine with out raising the deck - limbs / sticks want to jam up into the loaders hydro lines and wreck them.
