It's not much help maybe,, but in my area the rotary header JD 4995's Swathers (and older models) run through 3-5+ ton/ac timothy on hills at 5-6 MPH. On flat ground they drag race through the timothy easily cutting 100+ acres of 3-4 ton/timothy a day. The JD's are humping something around 200 horse,, how much power you need and how fast do you wanta go?
