| Curt,
I have contracts with four companies, two of which we use most for spring crops. Both are innovators, and have taken my input building "production hail" plans. I really like production hail coverage with MPCI and CRC/RA in central and western NE and other areas with high hail rates.
When I initially looked at GRIP, one of the companies you listed really attacked GRIP in a couple of farm journals. Both also paid significantly less commission several years ago on GRIP. The companies I use now both embraced GRIP to a degree. I believe in part because they share my belief that it works for some producers, and even though it has a higher loss ratio, companies do make money selling GRIP too, just not as much. (these definitely are my opinions only)
I'm starting on SD now. MN's corn GRIP numbers look huge, and I need to double check my math/excel formulas (late last night) on those too.
I'll post SD soon,
