Willacoochee, GA | I would not be scared of the 44, but it was not enough tractor for our amadas 4-row peanut combine. We had to use the 44 last year for a few days when the 7810 went down, and it killed the tractor. I guess that is the main reason we are trading, we have always had a back-up tractor for peanut picking, when we ran a KMC picker, we could pick with the 44 or a 3155, then we traded the 31 for a 7810, and the KMC for an amadas the same year. We have been fortunant, in 5 years, last season was the first real problem with the 7810. Long story short, if we could, we would keep the 44, but not feasible at this time. | |
