Subject: RTK Ez _Steer v Integrated

Home Hill North Queensland Australia
Hi All,
I was interested in Alange's comments on comparason being very close. I am in Australia & have told in the past ( before Ez-500 ) that it would not be reliable enough for me. I am in Furrow irrigated sugarcane country that is very flat & no Curves. I run 2 * 8100's. One is 4wd on 5' 4" centres & the other is 2wd on 10' centres. The Ez-steer is of interest because of its cost & transferability. I have a Trimble RTK network in my district. I would be happy with 1" accuracy either side of a line & if the unit is cheap enough more would be acceptable in most situations (I think). At this stage not to worried about other applications such Fert control etc. I would be interested in Pricing (Us dollars will do).& what is needed, the list that I think I would need is as follows:-
1*Ez-500 with L1-L2 antenna & RTK Unlock
1* RTK Radio
1*T3 Terrain Compensation (I was recommended 1 for each tractor for ease of Calibration)
1*Ezsteer no T2?
Mojo Rtk is interesting except for no A-B memory.
Ian
