Mine quit working last year so I ordered some new parts to rebuild it. Took it off and apart and found that it was just caked with crud. Cleaned it out and put it back together and now seems to work fine. Plus I have a couple spare parts on hand:) I'd do it now to save some downtime later. Not that difficult really.
