They will share traits openning up the door for:

RR,YGCB, YGVT, HX, HWRW, LL, etc. in one hybrid.

The second generation genes for Corn borer are really close (Yieldgard Pro) and second genes for RW as well. The idea is to stack them all in the plant for better protection, multiple modes on the herbicide issues, and bring the discussion back to genetics rather than busting chops over whether or not you have a Western Bean Cutworm issue or if the bT in HX is better or not than YGCB.

You would be buying more on the "substance" than the "chrome".
