We just built a new shop last fall and have not put a perment heater in yet. just a nipco for now . But I was at a neighbors the other day and his shop is 54 by 60 and he put in a long ceiling mount radiant heater for 2000 dollars. It is 17500 btu he has a 14 ft side wall ours is 17 ft. His warmed the shop up fast
