Subject: RE: T-Gold Starter on Corn

Coldwater, Michigan
Hello Dan,

T-Gold is simply 8-0-0-9 from their tech sheet. Not a bad product in itself, just not a wonderful product. This particular product usually can be had for the hauling (freight) away from the Ammonium Sulfate producers. According to their literature they have screened it before offering it for sale. That is a positive because w/o screening it could get a lot of particulate matter into the product. I wouldn't get overly enthused about paying top price for the product, but it could have some value from a sulfur standpoint, you just aren't going to get much.

I would not be overly enthused about using much in-furrow with the seed. I would want to keep the sulfur below 1%. Maybe less with this product.
