| Yep, soil pH would be first on my list of things to correct. I like a pH of 6.5 for row crops.
I think if you could get an honest survey, you would find that the better yields come from fields that have the pH where it should be. That's what I find. Kind of makes lime look cheap for what it does for crop growth and development.
Micro's would be what I would look at AFTER I have "all the other stars aligned." If you have a low pH or something else that's out of whack and try to apply micro's it would be like fine tuning a carburetor when the gas tank has a leak.
