Salina, Kansas | Unless it has been switched to 12 volt I imagine it is like our 67 4020. It is an interesting system, the tractor itself is actually the center with a -12 on one side and +12 on the other side of the frame. The starter and generator are isolated and wired across the whole thing to get 24 volts. We have left our 24 because we always thought it provided better cranking on cold days. It does make it a little difficult to trace electrical problems when they occur because some of the lights and components run one side and some run on the other side of the two 12 volt systems. | |
