The S-lite will be more accurate than you are able to drive, at least that's what I've found with our S and I've got to keep it set on the low or middle setting to keep it from being to sensitive. I think your idea of saving your money and buying an all new setup when your ready for auto steer is smart because most of the stuff on the market now will be outdated by then anyway.
