All of the gear boxes, drives, transmission ect are the same as the 1440/1640 except the rotor gear box. The only things to watch are the front axle square tube and vertical frame above it as they are lighter than the bigger combines and can crack. They were rated as a 6 row combine by IH but it helps to turn the fuel up as some were pretty weak from the factory. Power is by far the limiting factor for capacity. My turboed 1420 would run a 20 ft 820 in beans as fast as a friends 1440 would a 15 ft. TORQUE
