| Computers on WB worked on everything else, but not on this site. Finally figured out that in IE, needed to go to "Tools-Internet Options-Connections-Lan Settings" and check the "Auto detect proxy settings" box.
Also, "Thanks" to Dave Orr for the quick email response.
This fix has worked for some WildBlue subscribers, but not for others. We nothing about the problem beyond this.
I tried that setting in Firefox (Tools, Options, Network Tab, Settings Button) and found that it resolved my issue. I do use Wild Blue so apparently the problem mentioned sometimes affects Internet Explorer and sometimes affects Firefox. If it matters to anyone, the Wild Blue runs into a Linksys wireless router and then I connect wirelessly through that on my notebook. |
