I don't really have an answer, but one thing to consider. Wheat following wheat in our area is very risky due to the disease "Take All." Take All must survive on live wheat tissue. You might want to consider how great the risk is in your area. I have seen wheat sowed in the same field (back to back) make around of 1/3 of normal.
