I think those tractors were a disaster from the get go. Even in places were 4x4's are the most common tractors those old IH's wound up sitting in fence rows or dealers back lots. IH soon went to Steiger for 4x4's but fouled those up too with IH V-8 engines. I recommend you give this orphan 4186 a pass.
