Subject: Coolant leak on rear of 4.0 Ford Ranger engine

Southeast Wyoming

I have a 98 Ranger with a serious leak on the back of the engine; I can't get in there with a mirror to see where the leak is.  I can see a sensor and hope that is the source of the leak but it may be the lower intake manifold gasket.  Or is there something else bolted up back there that would leak coolant - or a freeze plug?  Does anyone have a good picture of the rear of that engine or have experience with a leak on the rear of the engine?

TIA  Gary
