In bcpool's initial question, he discussed controlling and recording rates for both liquid fertilizer and NH3 while using the local JD RTK system. From your comment that, "your only choice is the GS2 console from John Deere." I inferred that this would control and record from 2 non-Deere controllers as I have not heard that Deere makes it's own NH3 controller nor their own liquid controller that goes on a strip till rig. Sorry I jumped to a conclusion you never meant.
I apologize for the lack of clarity in my post. The point I was trying to make was that if bcpool is requiring his "technology choice" to be able to utilize the John Deere RTK Network, his controller choice is immediately limited to a John Deere console, irregardless of other controller capabilities. |
