If the steering force required for the ATV is similar to an ordinary tractor, then the motor will be able to steer the ATV. Use a large enough radius to get a low enough force for the motor to work against. Use a fish scale on the arc tangent to see what force is required for turning the vehicle. If it is between 2 to 4 pounds force, then the EZ-Steer (tm) motor will be able to turn the vehicle. If the motor exhibits a lot of manual overrides even with a low Override percentage, increase the arc diameter. It is important to put in the correct vehicle measurements for the vehicle. choose either conventional tractor or truck for vehicle type and run the calibration wizard. I'd stay oway from high speeds and sharp turns while tuning it up (and I'd wear a helmet. :-)
