we have been very cool ans very wet up here in south central Michigan, corn looks good , but we have fields that look like crap, and it's turning yellow, and the Hail damage, our heavey ground will do better in a dry year, our sand ground looks the best it has in years
been spraying beans, the water, and Hail hasn't been to kind to them .been along time sense we have had any Hail like this.
I have had very dry years too, like 1974......25 bu corn and 8 bu beans.
when you have to wear a light jacket in the mornings to feed the cattle , it's to cool!
we may have some 175 bu corn this year , but the field next to it may only make 70,and the beans ,well ????????????????????they are only 8-12" tall and these were planted befor the may floods,so?, and the snowman is comming ,maybe to soon for the crops to be ready!
farming up here on the trundra is so much fun!

Paul
