Subject: Re: Cost of Autopilot vs Accuguide

North Dakota
Just finishing one today, MX255 04 model. $11,000 installed with EzGuide 500, WAAS only. Add $2000 for OmniStar and $200-$500 for cables. I'm guessing 10 grand is carry out and not Omni ready. Getting one from a CNH dealer will be a AutoPilot unless the tractor is ready from the factory, both the same units. The install is fairly easy, the instructions are good and the kits are complete. Calibration is a little tougher and sometimes is more by guess than entering a fixed set of numbers, after installing it may take us 3-6 hours of testing and calibrating using different numbers to get the best operation.
