Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Supposedly the EZ-BOOM with the 500 would work with the Seed Clutches. There is reference to this in the EZ-Boom doucumentation. We have not done this yet.
There are several advantages of going the Insight route although maybe more costly. The split planter information would be available from the Insight at harvest time for a reference map. The Insight is far more complete in data management which may or may not be a consideration for you. The Insight has many other features that the older or cheaper units simply do not have.
If your combine is a good multiple (6 row head) of your 12 row planter, the Insight will even switch varieties for you at harvest time to keep the variety totals separate. |
