Just put it on on #2 & #3. Be very careful entering the cow numbers (if using DC305). Very easy to hit enter too early or put a 3 digit instead of a 4 digit. I did a lot of double checking to make sure the numbers were in correctly. Garbage in, garbage out. It isamazing how fast the system is, especially with dirty eartags. Loose cows are a lot easier to figure out who they are now.
I have spent quite a few hours on the phone with support getting the computer side of it streamlined for entry in front of the cows. Its a whole new way of thinking to not carry a piece of paper to look back at. I have been talking a lot to my herdsmen who will be using it to see what ideas they have for how it will be used. One herdsman, who is very quick with numbers, came back from his first round of finding cows absolutely excited, and he's a man of very few words.
I think the possibilities are endless!
