Sunnyvale, CA | Having the antenna on the centerline near the front of the cab roof gives good performance with the EZ-Guide 500. With the EZ-Guide Plus, some vehicles needed the antenna on the front of the hood, especially with non-T2 units. The improved control algorithms and the 50 Hz update with the EZ-Guide 500 greatly expands the successful antenna mounting locations. Perhaps some of the people who were giving advice where the antenna should be mounted were talking about different equipment (EZ-Guide Plus with or without T2 or EZ-Guide 500 (which does require T2) ).
