All we have over here is reversible ploughs (rollover plows) and I have in the past set up several using Auotpilot on HP or RTK. Never run into the problem you are describing so I am not sure what the fuss is, unless your ploughs are set up differently? I have set up ploughs ranging from 5 to 13 furrows.
