Subject: $50 a roll at the tail end of a drought year?

Little River, TX
Not so sure I would like to sell at those prices. Not with the cost of fertilizer inputs, at 50 lbs/ton of 12% CP hay, 12 to 14 lbs of phosphate, and 50 or so lbs of potash, and another 40 lbs of calcium, at today's prices for fertilizers? At $50 a roll after roughly $20 harvest cost and todays cost of fertilizer it may be a net loss at for each bale sold.

Here is hoping for a good year.
